Living hospitality in the fourth generation
It is with great pleasure and deep gratitude that we accept the Hotelier of the Year 2025 award. This honor is much more than an award - it is a recognition of everything that has defined our hotel for generations: our values, our passion and our daily striving to offer our guests a special place to relax and arrive.
Our parents laid the foundations with courage and determination, and we continue this life's work with the same dedication and love. For us, this award is not only a reflection on what we have achieved, but also an incentive to carry our philosophy of hospitality into the future with just as much passion.
The award
On February 18, 2025, the Hotelier of the Year 2025 award was presented at a festive industry gala in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz. After three years at Europa-Park in Rust, the event was held in the Rhine-Main region for the first time. The award ceremony was embedded in the German Hotel Congress, which serves as a central platform for the exchange of information on innovations, trends and the future of the hotel industry.
The evening was hosted by ahgz editor-in-chief Rolf Westermann and actress Jessica Schwarz. Before the actual award ceremony, chancellor candidate and CDU chairman Friedrich Merz addressed a digital greeting to those present, in which he spoke about his personal and professional connections to Hotel Deimann. The laudatory speech was given by Karl Schneider, who particularly emphasized the long-standing family tradition and the sustainabledevelopment of the hotel in his speech.It was a night full of emotion that celebrated not only our work, but also our values - a night in which we were able to pause together with companions and colleagues to honor this special milestone.

Our family lives and loves the hotel business - and always has. For four generations, we have been running our hotel with the deep conviction that true hospitality is not just a service, but an attitude. Our guests should not just feel comfortable with us - they should arrive, take a deep breath and feel at home. This award is a promise for us: We will continue to develop our hotel with passion, a spirit of innovation and family cohesion, without ever forgetting our roots.
