SCHMALLENBERGER SAUERLAND
You start your Sauerland cycle tour through an open and undulating landscape, which you can fully enjoy thanks to a gentle descent. After you turn onto the SauerlandRadring, you have to master a few climbs. But don't worry: towards Bad Fredeburg, the route is downhill for quite some time. On your tour, you will also pass Grafschaft, the cycling Mecca of the Sauerland region.
Length: approx. 50 km, medium difficulty
BAT TUNNEL AND UENTROPTAL
This cycle tour takes you from Schmallenberg to the almost 700-metre-long Fledermaustunnel, where it gets cool even in summer. This is followed by a climb, but the effort is rewarded with a winding descent. The highlight of your cycle tour is the picturesque Uentroptal valley.

These rooms are equipped with a modern temperature control system that allows the room air to be heated or cooled as required. To ensure sustainable and resource-saving air conditioning, cooling is provided exclusively by water from our own deep well instead of climate-damaging cooling units. During longer periods of heat, the well water can heat up by a few degrees Celsius, so that the room air is cooled by 3-4 °C compared to the outside temperature. We ask for your understanding and support for this ecologically sustainable approach.
